Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Java / Microservices Engineer with strong experience in building large-scale, distributed systems within safety-critical environments. The ideal candidate will have deep Java expertise, hands-on experience with modern microservices architectures, and exposure to Agile at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, distributed Java-based applications
• Build and support microservices using Spring Boot, Kafka, and modern frameworks
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Bitbucket, Gradle, Jenkins, and JIRA
• Implement real-time communication using WebSocket and event-driven architectures (Kafka pub/sub)
• Contribute to HMI modernization initiatives using modern UI and backend frameworks
• Ensure software quality and compliance in safety-critical environments
• Participate in scaled Agile delivery frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and distributed system development
• Experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, WebSocket, and microservices architectures
• Proficiency in Git, Bitbucket, Gradle, Jenkins, Eclipse, JIRA, and Cucumber
• Experience working in large-scale, distributed systems
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience working in safety-critical software environments
• Knowledge of Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or similar)
