The Role:
We are looking for a Software Engineer who enjoys building production-ready systems and is curious about energy applications.
This role is ideal for engineers who want to stay software-focused while contributing to the energy transition and delivering products with real value to users.

As a Software Engineer, you will be a key member of our development team, bringing strong technical expertise and contributing high-quality code.

The Product and Team:
Our department develops and manages a portfolio of advanced software solutions designed to harvest and optimize the flexibility offered by renewable production and consumption in energy applications:
- Flex.Guard: A platform that enables electricity grid operators to dynamically manage network constraints and increase the grid's capacity to host renewable energy sources.
- Flex.Boost: An AI-based software that controls flexible energy processes (like battery storage, industrial loads, and EV charging) to optimize energy costs against volatile market prices and maximize self-consumption.
The Role:
We are looking for a Software Engineer who enjoys building production-ready systems and is curious about energy applications.
This role is ideal for engineers who want to stay software-focused while contributing to the energy transition and delivering products with real value to users.
Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer, you will be a key member of our development team, bringing strong technical expertise and contributing high-quality code.
- Software Development: contribute directly to the delivery of software increments within an Agile environment.
- Software Engineering Excellence: Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Product-Focus Delivery: build, test, and maintain software components that power energy-domain features with direct impact for users.
- Team Collaboration: Work within a cross-functional squad (engineering, product, energy experts) to deliver value in fast, iterative cycles.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Python is required.
- Solid experience working with database technologies and data intensive software.
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies and programming languages.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to code debugging, root-cause analysis, and solution design.
- Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with collaborative software development practices using Git/GitHub or similar platforms.
- Experience with DevOps principles and practices (CI/CD).
- An interest in the energy sector and a desire to contribute to the energy transition.
- Professional proficiency in English. Fluency in French is a plus.
