About Your Role

As a software engineer at Car Rental Gateway, your primary responsibility will be to solve complex software and business challenges. Your role will encompass all stages of the software development cycle, starting from the initial technical preparations and extending to testing your own code and monitoring its performance as necessary.

Your role will involve delivering innovative products and features to our clients, directly influencing their revenue and market positioning. By collaborating with engineers from across the organisation, you will have excellent opportunities to exchange knowledge and drive initiatives that propel Car Rental Gateway’s growth and success. Together, we will leverage our collective expertise to push the boundaries of technology, creating impactful solutions that meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our valued clients.

About You

• You have at least 3-4 years of trackable experience with Go, Node.js, or PHP.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of web technologies and a good understanding of web services.
• You have experience with version management software (e.g., Git) and are familiar with cloud providers and their APIs (e.g., AWS).
• Your English language skills are excellent.
• You are comfortable with microservice architecture and have experience in API design.
• You excel at writing code that is readable, testable, maintainable, and performant.

Work Location

This position is 100% onsite and based at our Tartu office.

Candidates should be able to work from the Tartu office on a full-time basis.
