After recently onboarding 3 engineers, this Irish scaleup are continuing their growth in R&D – multiple more hires expected.

The role…

Product engineer on a sub-team of 6 people. You’ll being working end-end, helping design/build core services that power their platform… distributed systems, data pipelines, and integration layers all within a modern Java-based stack. You’ll be contributing alongside some top engineers, given lots of ownership/freedom, and there are clearly laid paths for progression in the coming 1-2 years.

The person…

• Around 3-5 years’ backend development experience, ideally with Java as your primary language.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experienced working in cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes etc).
• Comfortable building scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Good communicator, able to collaborate with product, design, frontend engineering teams etc.
