Java Backend Developer
Location: Dublin City Centre (5 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Daily rates: €500 - 600 DOE
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance server-side applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new features, fix bugs, and enhance the codebase.
- Translate product requirements into functional and extensible software.
- Build and deploy new applications while maintaining low response times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Web and Android developers.
- Contribute to test plans and ensure high-quality code delivery.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in backend Java development with a strong grasp of RESTful APIs and relational databases.
- Proficiency with Microservices, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Agile Scrum teams and distributed computing.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge of Java/Kotlin.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and supporting scalable systems.
*For this position you need to be based in Dublin and hold a UK/EU passport or Stamp 4.
