Cyber Risk Analyst

Our client, a leading global financial services provider, is seeking a Senior Cyber Risk Analyst to join its Information Security & Resilience team. This role plays a key part in managing information security risk and ensuring the effective implementation of security controls across internal services and third-party providers.

You will act as a central point of contact for information security matters, working closely with business units, technology teams, and external partners to ensure compliance with global security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for information security within service delivery
• Promote and embed security requirements across the service lifecycle, including third parties
• Identify, assess, and manage information security risks with key stakeholders
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and compliance standards
• Develop security policies, procedures, and contractual security requirements
• Support supplier management, outsourcing, and security risk assessments
• Define security objectives, metrics, and reporting for services and projects.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years’ experience in IT and information security roles
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and standards (ISO 2700x, COBIT, ISO 31000)
• Experience in policy development, supplier management, and third-party risk
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in enterprise or agile environments; project management skills desirable
• Technical exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, or AI an advantage.
