The Mission
Financial Markets (FM) is the Bank's gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of ING's clients with products, services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with an additional presence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.
The FMGT Tribe is the change delivery department of Financial Markets ('FM') and Group Treasury ('GT'), realizing client ambitions by connecting them to global markets, providing financial solutions, and delivering lasting value.
Within FM, in Competitive Pricing area, we have ING Pricing Architecture (IPA) asset, which consists of multiple components that enable real-time and batch calculations of financial risk metrics and simulations (e.g. XVA, PFE, Value at Risk, Expected Shortfall, Bilateral Margining, pre-deal derivatives Pricing) which are driven by new banking regulations as well as advanced Risk analysis on the derivative product portfolio of Financial Markets (interest rates, credits, foreign exchange). This asset is in the heart of the IT landscape for our global dealing rooms and risk managers in Asia, Europe and Americas, with aprox. 30 scrum teams spread across 4 locations (Amsterdam, Brussels, Bucharest and Singapore), cooperating to evolve it towards target ING Financial Markets IT vision.
Your day to day
As Product Manager IPA Business Support, you will report functionally to the FMGT Pricing Tribe Lead and will be responsible for the Business Support product area. You are accountable for driving strategic priorities, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering collaboration across multiple squads and product areas.
Role
In this role, you are not only coordinating delivery but also functionally leading a group of Product Owners and other contributors across squads. You will steer the product vision, execution, and team development to ensure IPA Business Support delivers maximum business value through strategic prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement. Your day to day
As Product Manager IPA Business Support, you will report functionally to the FMGT Pricing Tribe Lead and will be responsible for the Business Support product area. You are accountable for driving strategic priorities, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering collaboration across multiple squads and product areas.
Role
In this role, you are not only coordinating delivery but also functionally leading a group of Product Owners and other contributors across squads. You will steer the product vision, execution, and team development to ensure IPA Business Support delivers maximum business value through strategic prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement. You will:
- Engage senior stakeholders across business and IT to align on priorities and proactively address cross-product dependencies.
- Manage senior stakeholder escalations and communications during P1 incidents, ensuring transparency and timely resolution.
- Combine platform and systems knowledge, product management, and business expertise to drive the end-to-end product vision.
- Drive initiatives that enhance release and test management capabilities across the product areas, ensuring stability and reliability remain top priorities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams building intraday and end-of-day pricing solutions to facilitate standardization, operational simplicity, and enhanced customer experience.
- Work closely with Product Area Leads and Product Managers in Front Office Services, Risk Services, and Pricing Core areas to enable delivery of customer journeys.
- Steer for standardization and clear purpose with your team of Product Owners.
- Drive epics and features from different programs or for strategic improvements related to your product.
- Communicate and drive the priorities of the product backlog to IT squads and steer delivery.
- Act as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders (Trading, Sales, Operations, IT, Risk Management, Finance) to identify pain points and improvements on the run side of supported customer journeys.
- Own the product end-to-end, you are accountable for product vision, and you define product roadmap, prioritize the backlog, and maximize business value
- Balance functional and non-functional requirements, including risk, reliability, IT Run, and lifecycle management.
- Represent the voice of stakeholders and ensure their needs are reflected in product decisions.
- Lead quarterly prioritization sessions (QBR) and secure capacity for strategic initiatives.
- Organize regular stakeholder updates, communicate progress, and escalate impediments.
- Monitor squad performance metrics and ensure clarity of product vision across teams.
- Mentor Product Owners and foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and delivery excellence.

- Flexibility to work in our fast-paced Financial Markets environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions
- Strong understanding of pricing data in the Financial Markets domain, including market, trade, and static data.
- Master's degree level.
- 5+ years' proven track record at a Product Manager or scaled Product Owner role.
- A personality and the capabilities to optimally function within an Agile environment.
- Experience in realising change.
- Experience with Financial Markets
- Experience in a role closely interacting with Tech organizations.
- Sound experience in building and realizing Product roadmaps.
- Expertise in driving and steering multidisciplinary teams (BusDevOps).
- Proven experience in project or product management across medium to large scale projects with medium to high impact.
- Excellent level of English.
