As a Junior Data Scientist Student Worker, you will play a key role in improving data consistency and reliability across multiple sources, supporting our digital transformation journey. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from Siemens employees from multiple functions and develop skills related to data analytics in the context of a multinational technology company
Your professional profile:
- Currently enrolled at a Swedish university as a bachelor or master student in Data Science, Computer Science, Business or Statistics with at least one year remaining in studies
- Basic knowledge of Python and SQL or similar
- Experience developing and updating dashboards based on gathered and analyzed data
- Familiarity with Power BI and/or Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate professionally in English (written and oral); Swedish is preferred
- Previous exposure to AI or data-driven projects is an advantage
- Analyze and assess data quality issues, propose and perform corrections
- Develop processes for data validation, cleansing, and enrichment
- Support the creation of dashboards and reports to track data quality KPIs
- Contribute to Data Analytics projects, taking on a pivotal role as a Power BI data model key user.
- Explore AI-driven solutions and generative AI applications
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

- Flexible working hours (approx. 16 hours/week) alongside your studies
- We expect you to be based at our office in Solna, Stockholm
