Air Canada seeks a highly motivated, strong, highly skilled Scrum Master to build and guide our project teams in our IT Customer Digital Development group. The ideal candidate is responsible for bringing together the business and technical aspects of any given solution. The successful individual must be customer journey centric and have a passion for the travel industry.

This role will report to the Manager, Application Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT and or information systems
• 3+ years of Scrum Master experience and overall 8+ years of experience in IT/Software development.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification and/or PMP certification an asset
• Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and practices.
• Experience with Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) is an asset
• Thorough understanding of Agile & Waterfall software development methodologies
• Experience with SDLC tools like JIRA, and Confluence an asset
• Must have exceptional communication, facilitation, and time management skills
• Experience working in complex, multi-project, multi-vendor, and multi-team environments
• Creative, resourceful, and innovative at tackling complex challenges and resolving problems
• Airline or travel industry experience a plus, but not required.
• Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.

Air Canada est à la recherche d’un facilitateur Scrum très motivé, capable et qualifié pour former et orienter nos équipes de projet du groupe du Déploiement numérique – Clients – TI. La personne idéale est responsable de réunir les aspects commerciaux et techniques de toute solution. Le candidat retenu doit se concentrer sur l’expérience client et avoir une passion pour l’industrie du transport aérien.

Le titulaire du poste relèvera du Chef de service - Développement des applications.

Qualifications

• Baccalauréat en informatique, en ingénierie, en TI ou en systèmes d’information
• Au moins trois ans d’expérience à titre de facilitateur Scrum et plus de huit ans d’expérience en TI ou en développement logiciel
• Agrément Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), certification Professional Scrum Master (PSM) ou certification PMP, un atout
• Compréhension approfondie des méthodes, valeurs et pratiques de développement logiciel Agile
• Expérience de SAFe, un atout
• Compréhension approfondie des méthodes de développement logiciel Agile et en cascade
• Expérience des outils servant au cycle de vie du développement logiciel, comme JIRA et Confluence, un atout
• Compétences exceptionnelles en communication, en facilitation et en gestion du temps
• Expérience de travail dans des environnements complexes comprenant de multiples projets, fournisseurs et équipes
• Créativité, ingéniosité et innovation pour relever des défis complexes et résoudre des problèmes
• Expérience de l’industrie du voyage ou du transport aérien, un atout, mais non obligatoire
• Faire preuve de ponctualité et de fiabilité pour soutenir le succès global de l'équipe dans un milieu trépidant.
