The function of the airworthiness review staff is to perform a comprehensive evaluation of an aircraft and its records to ensure it complies with Airworthiness standards at the time of the review, ultimately leading to the issuance or recommendation for an Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC).

Key Responsibilities

• Performing both the documented and the physical survey of QAA Part-CAMO managed aircraft.
• Perform the airworthiness review, including the depth of sampling as per the procedures established by QAA Part-CAMO
• Compilation of a compliance report detailing all items checked and the outcome of the review.
• Liaise with Part-CAMO to resolve all airworthiness review findings and make sure that all findings are closed prior to issuing an ARC or issuing an extension to an ARC
• Issuing of the airworthiness review certificate (ARC) or recommendation to issue ARC
• Issuing an extension of the airworthiness review certificate (ARC)
• Issue of Permit to fly
• Annual Review of AMPs
  
  

Minimum Qualifications & Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in relevant field.
• An appropriate license in compliance with Annex III (Part-66) or an aeronautical degree or equivalent.
• At least five years’ experience in Continuing Airworthiness
• Formal Aeronautical Maintenance training.
• Holder of a position within the approved organization with appropriate responsibilities. (Preferably an existing or former Nominated Airworthiness Review Staff with or holding Authorization privileges to issue an ARC or Recommendation.)
• Experience/knowledge of Part M/Part-ML/CAMO.
• Experience/knowledge Part-145 maintenance activities, preferably small aircraft maintenance.
• Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, time management, project management, leadership and team building skills are required.
