Why

Everyone worries about the dooms-day in climate change which is expected to occur in the 2050s. However, there's one doom's day which is the reality for millions of people around the world today. Air pollution takes more than 7 Million lives globally every single year. Over 5% of premature children death occur due to air pollution in developing countries. Everyone has relied on governments or experts to solve the problem, but most solutions up until today have either been too expensive or too ineffective. Praan is an attempt at making the future cleaner, healthier, and safer for the generations to come.

Job Description

• Design intuitive user experiences for web, mobile apps, and device interfaces with a strong focus on usability and clarity
• Create low-fidelity wireframes, user flows and interaction frameworks to explore ideas quickly
• Develop high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes that are production-ready and scalable
• Translate complex technical and operational requirements into simple, easy-to-understand user journeys
• Design and prototype UI motion and animations to communicate system states, feedback, transitions and interactions clearly
• Develop, maintain, and evolve a library of reusable UI components, patterns, and design guidelines
• Create clear interaction diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes that communicate intent effectively to cross-functional stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure feasibility and consistency
• Iterate rapidly on designs based on feedback, usage insights, and real-world constraints
• Ensure visual and interaction consistency across products by adhering to and refining design systems
• Present design work clearly, articulating rationale, trade-offs, and user impact
• Balance speed and quality while managing multiple design tasks in parallel
  
  

Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in UI/UX design, interaction design, HCI, visual communication, or a related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design depth, systems thinking, and visual clarity
• Excellent fundamentals in typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and information design
• Proven ability to quickly create clear diagrams, wireframes, flows, and prototypes with a strong interaction point-of-view
• Strong understanding of UI motion principles, transitions, micro-interactions and animation for usability and feedback
• Experience designing both low-fidelity frameworks and high-fidelity interfaces
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience collaborating with cross functional teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Prototyping skills
• Experience working on hardware-enabled products or system-driven software
