Networking Specialist

Remitee, a rapidly expanding fintech company specializing in international payments, is seeking a Networking Specialist.

As a Networking Specialist, you will be responsible for the availability, performance, and security of Remitee’s network architecture. You will work closely with Cloud, Security, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to support business growth and ensure compliance with fintech security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain network architectures across cloud and hybrid environments.
Manage and optimize routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
Ensure high availability, performance, and fault tolerance of network services.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
Implement and maintain network security controls (segmentation, firewall rules, access controls).
Collaborate with Security teams on vulnerability remediation and incident response.
Support cloud networking components (VNETs/VPCs, subnets, gateways, private endpoints).
Document network designs, standards, and operational procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Network Engineer / Networking Specialist.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing solutions.
Experience with cloud networking (preferably Azure).
Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience in high-availability and production-critical environments.

Nice to have:

Experience in fintech or regulated environments.
Knowledge of network security best practices and zero-trust concepts.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
Experience with monitoring tools and network observability.
Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Azure Network Engineer, or similar).
