Private Equity Associate

A well-established mid-market private equity firm is looking to add a Associate to their team. The role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including deal execution, portfolio management, and value creation initiatives.

You will work closely with senior team members on live transactions and play an active role in supporting portfolio companies, with increasing responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new investment opportunities, including financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence
• Build and review detailed financial models (LBOs, operating models, scenario analyses)
• Prepare investment memoranda and materials for internal decision-making
• Support deal structuring, negotiations, and transaction execution
• Work closely with portfolio company management teams on strategic and operational initiatives
• Monitor portfolio performance and support value creation efforts
• Contribute to market research, sector analysis, and deal origination

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction services, or strategy consulting
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Solid understanding of mid-market transactions and private equity dynamics
• Commercial mindset with an interest in hands-on value creation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in small deal teams
