About your role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager with technical expertise to lead our Companion Animal Pharmaceutical portfolio in Finland. In this key role, you will combine scientific knowledge with strategic marketing execution and hands-on initiatives. You will be responsible for your product portfolio, covering launches, planning, customer engagement, technical support, and commercial follow-up.

This is a full-time position reporting to Hannu Marttila, Country Manager Animal Health. The role is full-time and on-site (Espoo or Turku), with opportunities to collaborate closely with colleagues across Orion’s global teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

Ownership of the Product Portfolio

  • Take full responsibility for the assigned portfolio across its entire lifecycle.
  • Act as the internal and external expert for all technical and product-related questions.
  • Lead the planning and execution of local product launches.

Marketing & Execution

  • Develop and implement local marketing plans.
  • Create materials, campaigns, and educational tools to support veterinarians and partners in Finland.
  • Coordinate with partners involved in distribution, promotion, and technical activities.

Commercial Follow‑Up

  • Monitor product performance and sales development
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on field trends and customer feedback
  • Support sales teams with technical expertise and campaign planning.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Maintain strong relationships with veterinary professionals and key industry stakeholders
  • Work closely with HQ functions (Global Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, and Commercial Operations)

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is

  • Confident in technical topics and able to simplify complex information.
  • Structured, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong in cross-functional collaboration and balancing strategic tasks with hands-on execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Veterinary degree (mandatory).
  • Proven clinical experience and/or pharmaceutical veterinary background is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of English (verbal and written, our business language) and Finnish, other languages are a plus.
  • Experience from customer service, sales, marketing etc. is an advantage.

Unit Description

The mission of Animal Health is to improve the quality of life for animals. Animal Health manufactures and markets in-house developed medicines as well as numerous generic drugs for both companion and livestock animals. We are committed to making daily life healthier and less stressful for both animals and the people who care for them.

We produce and distribute over 300 veterinary medicines and are present in over 100 markets around the world servicing the needs of our customers in both the companion animal and livestock sectors. Our manufacturing and supply chain operations are located in France and Belgium.
