What Is The Opportunity
Become a Scrum Master at Bank of Ireland in Dublin, Ireland, and join a dynamic team crafting the future of finance. In This Role You Will
- Lead and mentor multiple Scrum teams in achieving the product backlog, supporting the removal of any impediments that may affect progress during each Agile delivery cycle
- Function as a Scrum facilitator and facilitative leader for the teams.
- Provide strong attention to detail in all aspects related to the position
- Support the Delivery Lead in running roadmap results.
- Coordinate short- to mid-term roadmap planning and execution.
- Partner closely with the Product Owner to ensure work is delivered within agreed SLAs.
- Strong experience working on high-quality digital projects using Agile methodologies.
- Comfortable navigating and collaborating within Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
- Confirmed understanding of technology delivery practices and emerging industry trends.
- Skilled in mentoring teams to improve delivery efficiency.
- Confirmed ability to support partners and build strong, positive relationships.
- Able to work independently, demonstrating good judgement to drive progress.
- Champion a thoughtful, detailed, and genuinely can?'do approach that helps teams feel supported and confident in their delivery.
- Be a self?'starter who brings meaningful Agile experience and a clear, grounded understanding of the Scrum Master role, enabling teams to work with clarity and ease.
- Scrum Master or Agile delivery certifications (e.g., PSM II, SAFe, A?'CSM).
- A degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a relevant business subject area, or equivalent experience.
