As a Requirements Engineer – Payments within the Core Banking team of IT Europe, you will play a key role in shaping payment solutions for our clients. Your mission is to transform business requirements into efficient IT solutions using Temenos T24 / Transact, with a focus on the TPH payments module. You will collaborate with stakeholders and agile teams to ensure smooth, secure, and compliant payment processes across multiple systems and international hubs.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements in the various domains.
  • Analyze and document functional specifications for the required solutions.
  • Design, estimate, implement and test IT solutions based on Temenos T24/Transact in collaboration with your Scrum team
  • Define and review test scenarios, cases, and results to validate requirements.
  • Support integration between multiple systems and payment channels.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during product launches and enhancements.
  • Work with the support teams for analysing incidents on L3 level
  • Provide guidance and training to business stakeholders and support teams.
  • Stay informed about new payment technologies and regulatory changes

YOUR PROFILE

Competencies

  • Minimum 2 years in requirements engineering or business analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Temenos T24 / Transact, ideally with the TPH payments module.
  • Knowledge of European payment systems (SWIFT, SEPA, TARGET2, TIPS) and ISO messaging standards.
  • Familiarity with EU payment regulations (Instant Payments, Verification of Payee, etc.) is a plus.

Education and Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Banking, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable mindset.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and contribute innovative ideas.
