Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications, working with cloud-native technologies, and deploying containerized solutions on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS
• Build and support enterprise-scale applications and complex system integrations
• Develop, containerize, and deploy services using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, deployments, and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and best practices
• Ensure high performance, scalability, security, and reliability of backend systems
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js and NestJS
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
• Solid experience deploying and managing applications on AWS
• Experience working on large-scale, enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and integrations
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of security best practices and observability tools
• Exposure to event-driven or distributed systems
