A well-funded AI company in the data analytics space is hiring its first commercial pioneers in DACH.


This is a true founding AE role: full ownership of a market, direct access to founders, and the opportunity to shape the enterprise go-to-market motion from the ground up.


The platform enables business users to query complex enterprise data in natural language while maintaining strict data governance. It is built for organizations that need conversational AI without compromising on security, control, or trust.

What needs building:

Structured enterprise pipeline in DACH

Repeatable outbound motion into large accounts

A commercial layer alongside a mostly technical organization

First-principles GTM execution in the region


Current sales motion:

Target market: Enterprise (1,000+ employees)

Buyer personas: CDO, Head of BI, CFO and economic buyers

Deal sizes: €50K minimum, ~€200K average, up to €800K

Sales cycle: 4 weeks to 6–9 months (average under 3 months)

Motion: Full-cycle AE (self-gen to close and expansion), supported by pre-sales

Lead sources: Events, outbound, personal network

Methodology: Multi-stakeholder strategic selling, MEDDIC


Over the next 12–18 months you’ll:

Own and build the DACH enterprise market from zero

Act as the commercial face of the company at events and executive meetings

Generate pipeline through outbound, events, and ecosystem leverage

Close and expand complex enterprise deals

Help define what “excellent” looks like for future AEs

Position yourself for leadership as the commercial team scales


Must Haves:

Proven hunter profile with 2+ years full-cycle AE experience

Comfort selling complex, technical B2B SaaS solutions

Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-level stakeholders

Solid understanding of data analytics, BI, and data governance concepts

Able to discuss data warehouses, ETL, Python, and modern data stacks with senior data leaders

Experience in technical startup or scale-up environments


Nice to haves:

Background at a data or BI company

Previous Pioneer / first AE experience

Experience building pipeline from scratch

Track record selling into large enterprise organizations


Languages & setup:

German native, English fluent

Hybrid setup in Zurich (minimum 3 days per week)

Relocation support possible
