We are looking for an experienced Power BI Consultant / BI Analyst to design, develop, and maintain corporate-grade dashboards and analytical solutions that support business decision-making. The role combines strong technical expertise in Power BI and data modeling with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and data engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development & Maintenance

• Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly, enterprise-level Power BI dashboards aligned with business requirements
• Translate business questions into clear KPIs, metrics, and visual analytics
• Build custom visualizations when standard Power BI visuals are insufficient
• Ensure dashboards are delivered on time and built on robust, performant data models

Data Integration & Backend Collaboration

• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms (e.g. AWS), and enterprise systems
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to define backend requirements and data models
• Ensure automated, accurate, and reliable data refresh processes

Data Management & Modeling

• Perform data cleaning and transformation to prepare data for analysis
• Design and maintain scalable data models, including measures, calculated columns, and advanced DAX formulas
• Apply dimensional modeling best practices to support efficient and flexible analysis

Performance Optimization & Governance

• Optimize Power BI reports and datasets to ensure fast load times and smooth user interaction
• Support continuous improvement of performance across the existing BI portfolio
• Implement data security and governance, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and access controls

Ad-Hoc Analysis & Insight Generation

• Understand business objectives and translate them into analytical approaches
• Explore datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Deliver ad-hoc analyses and reports within agreed timelines

Training & Documentation

• Provide training and enablement sessions to support dashboard adoption by end users
• Create and maintain clear documentation in Confluence, including:
• Dashboard usage guides
• Data sources and data models
• KPI definitions
• Maintenance and refresh procedures

Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)

• Proven experience in a Power BI, Business Intelligence, or Analytics Consulting role
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Strong expertise in data modeling and DAX
• Experience integrating Power BI with SQL databases and cloud-based data sources
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data preparation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders
• Ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical audiences

Nice to Have

• Experience in digital analytics or customer journey analysis
• Knowledge of SQL performance optimization
• Experience with Python or other analytical programming languages
• Background in consulting or multi-stakeholder environments
• Familiarity with BI governance frameworks and enterprise analytics standards
