About the role:

We are looking for a skilled Front-end Developer to build our new product. The product will be a part of the 3Shape eco-system, which will provide users with a wide range of functionalities: dentistry design, high-load computations, dentist-lab communication, and integration with other sub-systems.

From a technical perspective, the product is being developed using Angular along with Angular Material for the frontend and C# for the backend.

As the product is relatively new, in addition to working on requested business features, the team devotes a significant amount of time to tasks related to architecture and investigation. These tasks involve the development of basic components, building appropriate environments, selecting the most suitable tools, and engaging in discussions about various processes. While the team follows basic principles such as code review, unit testing, and agile ceremonies, it is always on the lookout for ways to optimize processes and incorporate modern tools and technologies to deliver the best software packages possible.

The majority of teams at 3Shape, utilize the Agile methodology as its primary approach to software development.

Areas of responsibility:

• Develop front-end features using Angular and Angular Material within the 3Shape ecosystem.
• Contribute to product architecture, core components, environment setup, and technical investigations.
• Collaborate with backend engineers working in C# to deliver integrated solutions.
• Follow and improve development practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and process optimization.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support a collaborative, proactive team culture.
  
  

To succeed in your role, you should possess the following skills and competencies:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Proven 2+ years of experience with Angular
• Strong expertise with web-based development using HTML/HTML5, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code
• Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns
• Understanding of the memory management
• Passion for new technologies, and empathy for users
• A degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Attention to detail
• Familiar with Scrum or another agile framework
• Strong collaboration and communication skills and good in written and spoken English
• Excited about cross-site work: Your team is in Copenhagen and Kyiv and our partners are around the globe.
  
  

Would be a plus:

• Strong understanding of fundamental UX & UI principles and latest best practices for site performance and optimization
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with product managers, designers, and UX’ers
• Experience working with 3D frameworks (for example, three.js)
• Experience with writing unit tests
• Experience with testing of 3D UI or UI on canvas
• Experience with automated web UI testing frameworks
• Experience in integrating with Angular components and third-party services via RESTful APIs
• Experience in Agile development and continuous integration tools
