Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at CodingIT, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines for robust web applications. You will work in CI/CD automation, contribute to architectural decisions, build scalable solutions and ensure reliable and secure deployments across multiple environments.

This role is suited for an experienced, autonomous engineer who can take ownership of infrastructure systems end-to-end and, when needed, guide other developers from a technical standpoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, deployment orchestration, and custom reusable workflows.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools, including serverless functions, container services, managed databases, and networking.
• Configure and manage frontend hosting platforms for multiple applications with environment-specific configurations and custom domains.
• Design and implement incremental deployment systems using  monorepo architectures.
• Implement networking solutions including virtual private clouds, cross-account/cross-region connectivity, load balancing, and CDN configurations.

Qualifications

✅ Must-Have

• Strong experience with Vercel and AWS services: Lambda, EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFront, Docker, ECS Fargate, Aurora, etc.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and rollback strategies.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts: virtual networks, subnets, firewalls/security groups, load balancing, CDNs.
• Understanding of serverless architectures and function-as-a-service patterns.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of infrastructure solutions.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with monorepo architectures (Turborepo) and build orchestration tools (Github Actions).
• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, or Python.

⭐ Nice-to-Have

• Experience with preview environments with isolated databases per pull request.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using message queues and event buses.
• Experience with vector databases for AI/ML applications.
• Familiarity with auto-scaling database clusters and serverless database configurations.
• Experience with cross-account or multi-tenant cloud setups.
• Knowledge of caching strategies using Redis or similar in-memory stores
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (logging, metrics, tracing, error tracking).
• Experience integrating E2E testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with frontend hosting platforms and custom domain management.
• Knowledge of API gateway patterns and rate limiting strategies.
