Developer - React.js / Full Stack

The service will be provided within the FinOps IS Delivery Center teams responsible for tools geared towards Back Office and Finance operators including Confirmations, margin calls, Invoicing, Regulatory reporting, Accounting, Payments and Business Control domains.

The developer will work on projects/maintenance and support on the XRoad application, in charge of securing invoicing and closing processes for entities worldwide.

The role is focused on the application UI, developed in React.js, and requires a strong expertise on web technologies and a particular sensitivity on design and user experience quality. Knowledge of Java backend development is also expected.

The developer must be able to take on a complete upgrade from React v16.8 to React v19 on a complex business application without any regression.

The developer must provide expertise and be autonomous on UI topics.

Responsabilités principales

• Implement all aspects of an application design
• Translate application use cases into functional applications, design, coding, security, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, delivering and testing
• Deliver services to users with the highest level of satisfaction
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code, as per high standard of software quality, design and testing principles of the team while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
• Provide workload estimations
• Support continuous improvement of the services and applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Write and update technical documentations in English and make them available to the team. Provide training to other team members
• Work in close collaboration with business stakeholders/users and business analysts, architects, other IT development teams
• Provide effective and timely communication to all relevant teams
  
  

Compétences requises

• Expertise with React.js on complex applications is mandatory, with sensitivity on user experience and good understanding of business users expectations
• Knowledge of Java backend development
• Solid experience and culture in automated testing is a must
• Experience of AI assisted coding (GitHub Copilot) is also expected
• English required
  
  

Compétences appréciées

• Knowledge of MS .Net is a plus
• Hands on experience on cloud application development (MS Azure or AWS) is expected, with good knowledge of the most common Azure built-in services / PaaS offering - either .Net or Java application, or AWS equivalents
  
  

Contexte

To enhance its competitiveness and continue to expand under optimum conditions, the organization is investing heavily in its information system.

The current Front to Back trading system is being decommissioned and will be replaced by a new information system based on a Vendor System and in-house developments (C#, Java, SQL).

The main BackOffice and Finance systems are based on vendor solutions and in-house applications.
