The Data Scientist Chapter is located in Sweden (Gothenburg and Eskilstuna), and France (Lyon). The Machine Learning Engineer position will be located in Lyon and the offer is published until January 5th.

As a “Machine Learning Engineer” With Us, You'll
- Collaborate with diverse, international teams focused on delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
- Take a holistic approach to data science, machine learning and AI. From understanding business needs to industrializing solutions and enabling continuous improvement.
- Apply your expertise across different areas and domains within Volvo Group, spanning from trucks, buses, construction equipment, to energy solutions, autonomous technologies, financial services, and more.
- Master key aspects of data science, machine learning and AI, including mathematical statistics, computer science, cloud architecture, LLMs, and relevant programming languages. Moreover, candidates are expected to be familiar with aspects concerning security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Take lead in designing, implementing and owning lifecycle management (CI/CD, Ops) of data science, machine learning, and AI products.
- Excel in communication with colleagues and collaborators worldwide, fluently in English and preferably in a local language.
- Previous experience of managing and owning data science, machine learning, AI products.
- Industrialization and commercialization of the above products in regulated environments.
- Managing and leading practitioner communities
- Advanced academic achievements.
- Experience of leading product teams or critical projects
- Experience as "Tech Lead" for a domain, delivery or team of developers.
