Salary: Up To £65,000

Currently exclusive partnered with one the UKs most prominent CREST accredited Microsoft Gold Partners who are hiring a SOC Team Lead to spearhead their growing Cyber Defence capability.

Working apart of the SOC team, you will be responsible for continuously enhancing the client partnerships and monitoring a variety of high-end client SOC functions ensuring they are protected against ever-evolving cyber threats. You will be dealing with a range of alerts and working purely within the Microsoft Stack as well as mentoring junior analysts within the team working closely with the Cyber Security Manager to drive and improve the MSSP wider capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a lead and technical escalation point on the most complex incidents and investigations for a range of high-profile clients.
• Work closely with the wider cyber security functions (Engineering & Pentesting) supporting the security of corporate devices, networks and projects for both internal and MSP teams.
• Providing ongoing consultancy for SOC client-base, performing reviews of clients current security stature, identifying improvements, and making relevant recommendations
• Mentoring junior analysts to progress their development.

Key Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a senior or lead analyst within an MSP/MSSP environment consistently contributing to towards the development of a SOC.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Security Suite – Defender, Azure Sentinel, etc
• Experience mentoring / leading more junior analysts through complex investigations.
