Vass Romania is currently seeking for a Project Manager.

Role objective:

Assume full responsibility for the delivery of the NATO DIANA OS project, ensuring contractual compliance, on-time and on-budget execution, effective multi-team coordination, and the governance required in a NATO environment. This is a true delivery role, not an administrative one.

Key responsibilities:

• End-to-end ownership of the project plan and milestone delivery (MS1–MS7 and OLS).
• Active management of the RAIDD log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions).
• Coordination of multiple technical and functional squads running in parallel.
• Management of complex stakeholders: NATO/DIANA client, IV&V, external vendors.
• Implementation and operation of the governance, reporting, and escalation model.
• Ensure security and accreditation are embedded in delivery from day one.
• Maintain clear and continuous executive visibility of project status.

Required experience and knowledge:

• 5+ years as a Project Manager in complex technology projects.
• Proven experience in regulated environments (defense, public sector, security, mission-critical).
• Multi-team / multi-vendor project management.
• Experience with hybrid methodologies (agile + strong governance).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps environments, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Ability to interpret and execute against fixed-price contracts.

Desirable requirements:

• Previous experience in NATO-, defense-, or security-related projects.
• PMP / PRINCE2 / similar certifications.
• Sufficient technical background to engage with architects and technical leads.

• Ability to manage ambiguity without losing control.
