About The Role

The Data & Reporting Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the Data & Reporting BAU Leads, managing a third-party delivery partner, and coordinating with other workstreams to ensure objectives are met within agreed timeframes. This role requires a proactive approach, identifying and addressing potential risks or issues that could affect the overall functionality and performance of the solution, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through regular communications and engagement activities with project objectives and expectations.
  • Proactively identify solution risks, constraints, and dependencies that may impact the program timeline, budget, or quality.
  • Promote a culture of improvement and innovation within the solution teams by encouraging feedback, soliciting suggestions, and implementing improvements.

Essential Experience

  • Extensive Data, Analytics and Reporting experience (D365 and Power BI Preferred)
  • Ability to establish relationships and work across departments and entities.
  • Must have strong leadership skills, be ground-breaking and a strong influencer.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a ‘self-starter’ whilst doing so in a collaborative manner.
  • Given this is an ‘in flight’ program of work being able to deliver effectively whilst not being too disruptive is a critical success factor in this role.

Desirable Criteria

  • A proven business understanding of the working of the FMCG distribution businesses.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Project and DevOps tools and working with hybrid methodologies and frameworks.
  • Understands the context, intent and impacts of decisions and ability to implement changes successfully.
  • Innovation - Encourages new approaches and creative solutions that are fit.
  • High EQ and personable manner, a self-starter with drive
