Our client is seeking a Product Lifecycle Manager+ to guide the development of innovative smart home products from concept to launch. The ideal candidate will coordinate multiple teams, ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining alignment with the brand’s premium standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Product Lifecycle: Support product development from initial concept through launch, keeping all teams aligned throughout the process.
- Develop Documentation: Create detailed process flows, timelines, and technical documents to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Ensure Clear Communication: Maintain consistent communication across design, engineering, logistics, and brand teams to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.
- Support Smart Integration: Assist in the documentation and technical specifications necessary for integrating smart technology into products.
- Stay Updated on Logistics: Collaborate with partners to remain informed about import and customs requirements related to product launches.
- Collaborate on Brand Strategy: Work alongside brand strategists to ensure that all projects align with the organization’s premium branding strategy.
- Maintain Critical Path: Track key milestones throughout the project lifecycle and provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress.
- Flexible Project Management: Adapt project management methodologies such as Lean, Agile, and Scrum as needed based on project requirements.
- On-Time Product Launches: Successful management of product timelines leading to timely launches that meet market expectations.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Effective coordination among design, engineering, logistics, and branding teams resulting in seamless project execution.
- High-Quality Documentation: Creation of comprehensive documentation that supports clarity and understanding across all project phases.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from stakeholders regarding communication, updates, and overall project management effectiveness.
- Integration Success: Smooth integration of smart technology features into products with minimal issues during development and launch phases.
- Brand Alignment: Products that consistently reflect the organization’s premium brand values and resonate well with target customers.
- Experience: 3+ years in technical project management, preferably within the smart home or consumer electronics sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Suite and Keynote for creating documentation and presentations.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial design principles and premium manufacturing processes.
- IoT Knowledge: Proven experience with IoT products
- Project Certification: PMP certification or completion of PMBOK coursework.
- Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of import regulations and customs processes.
- Languages: Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and/or Spanish.
- Visual Communication: Strong skills in visual documentation to effectively convey project details.
- Project Management Tools: Experience with Asana, Slack, and Notion.
- AI Tools: Familiarity with AI tools to streamline deliverables.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of clear and frequent stakeholder updates.
- CSA Standards: Knowledge of CSA standards for smart products is a plus.
- Customer Support Processes: Understanding of customer support processes for product launches.
