CAD Engineer

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘

As a CAD Engineer, you will be fully responsible for the design and preparation of AutoCAD shop drawings and as-built drawings for infrastructure projects related to ELV, security, and IT systems. The role includes drafting complete installation works such as containment layouts, cable routing, fixing details, quantity take-offs, and the preparation of accurate as-built documentation.

𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒, 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 & 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄:

• Bachelors/Diploma of Engineering.
• Certification – AutoCAD Program /Adobe/3D MAX
• WORK EXPERIENCE [number of years of prior experience, specific industry / functional experience desired]
• 3-5 years where he/ she is exposed to all Civil Related Projects.
• Good Project Management skills
• Good people management skills

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒:

• Ability to produce drawings based on the site requirements or ideas came from the Project Team.
• Work from rough sketches and specifications given by Design / Project Engineers.
• Responsible for preparation of Shop Drawings; General Arrangements, Single line Diagrams, Layout, Sections, Elevations & Fixing Details.
• Preparing of detailed drawing for fabrication required for site installation.
• Familiarity on how the systems works, terminations and systems specific requirements.
• Ability to analyze the needed action based on the updates and changes received from the Main Contractors, Consultants etc.
• Ability to respond correctly to the queries from Consultants, Main Contractors etc. regarding the drawings.
• Coordinate & Collaborate with Project Team, Contractors and Consultants on projects.
• Ability to create aesthetically pleasing and usable drawings.
• Can work with 2D and 3D drawings.
• Able to work with mathematical and structural concepts to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Follow Government Regulations and policies on preparing drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to contribute on how to solve technical issues arise at site together with the Project Team.
• Assisting the Pre-Sales department in gathering quantities and preparation of preliminary design based on the tender drawings.
• Maintain project drawing files, drawing library, and associated records.
• Keep track of revisions in drawings, planning and coordinating activities between various contractors and consultants.
• Records and incorporate the additional changes of new issued drawings, design changes.
• Carry out site surveys with project team if required.
• Keep the Project Team aware of the changes and updates on the drawings. Prepare the As Built Drawings.
• Ability to work effectively as part of Draftsman Team or independently.
• Work under the supervision of Project Team Leader or Lead AutoCAD Engineer in the same project.
• Supervise AutoCAD Draftsman involved in the same project.
• Shall not disclose or copy any information related to the business activities of company and treat prepared drawings as strictly confidential.
