We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join one of our clients located in Vienna. The ideal candidate will be passionate not only about building front-end applications but also about working with data and developing software solutions to handle data challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
This role is permanent with an onsite working model.
Your tasks:
- Use the Django web framework to design and maintain configurations for data integration, enhancement, and visualization.
- Work closely with Operations and Investment teams to understand their needs and create tools and dashboards that assist with trading, risk management, and operational tasks.
- Produce detailed internal and user-facing documentation for the developed tools and systems, ensuring clear communication of their functionality and usage instructions.
Your profile:
- At least 3+ years of Python development experience in a financial firm.
- Expertise in Django or similar Python web frameworks.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with GitHub/Git or a similar distributed version control system.
- Comfortable working in a Linux command line environment.
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.
