Project Coordinator (3-Month Contract)
Location: Downtown Toronto, ON. Hybrid, 3 days on-site and 2 days remote

About the Opportunity
This is a short-term, high-impact opportunity for an organized and motivated Project Coordinator who enjoys keeping complex initiatives on track. You will support a busy executive team during a critical period, helping move multiple workstreams forward while ensuring details, timelines, and deliverables are aligned.
Working directly with the CEO within a people-focused, advocacy-driven organization, you will play a hands-on role in supporting public-facing initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and governance activities. Your work will directly contribute to member engagement, advocacy efforts, and key organizational milestones, including the Annual Meeting and board-related activities.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll coordinate multiple parallel workstreams, ensuring tasks, timelines, and deadlines stay on track.
- In this role, you’ll maintain trackers, task lists, and project documentation, following up on action items as needed.
- You’ll support the planning and execution of the Annual Meeting, board elections, and governance-related activities.
- You’ll assist with advocacy and stakeholder engagement initiatives, including scheduling, materials, and communications.
- You’ll work closely with the CEO to take on defined tasks, operating with autonomy while following clear direction.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or administrative project support
- Experience coordinating multi-stream projects in a fast-paced environment
- Post-secondary education in business, communications, public policy, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with proven follow-through and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment and discretion
