Network Engineer

A well-established organization is quietly expanding its network engineering team in Canada. Engineers here work on complex, high-availability environments with real business impact and long-term career progression.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi environments
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams on projects
• Monitor, optimize, and improve network performance and reliability
• Participate in upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–9+ years of experience in network engineering or network operations (level flexible)
• Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet (or comparable enterprise vendors)
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP)
• Firewalls, VPNs, and network security controls
• LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless networking
