DevOps Engineer

*** Mainframe DevOps Engineer - Hybrid in Brussels - 12 Month Contract ***

On behalf of one of our key partners RED now has a new opportunity for an experienced Mainframe DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Cobol, DB2, IMS, GTMS, and JCL. The role requires a deep understanding of architecture (hardware, OS, networking, databases, middleware).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with Cobol, DB2, IMS, GTMS, and JCL
• Excellent understanding of architecture as well as development tools.
• Experience with integration using different technologies (distributes/mainframe) and infra components
• Knowledge of agile methodology
• Strong English speaker

Nice to Have Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with middleware (MQ, zOS Connect, SOAP) can be the distinguishing factor
• Dutch/French speaking

Candidates ideally will be based in Belgium, but if you can travel to Brussels once per week this is also accepted.
