As our Lead AI Engineer, you'll spearhead the development of cutting-edge agentic AI solutions that automate complex HR processes, enhance employee experiences, and deliver unprecedented business intelligence.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead AI Architecture: Design and implement enterprise-scale AI systems
  • Build Agentic AI Solutions: Create intelligent agents that automate tasks
  • Drive Innovation: Create innovative solutions through the use of AI
  • Scale Intelligence: Transform our existing automation platform with advanced AI capabilities


Revolutionary AI Development:


  • Design and deploy agentic AI workflows that autonomously handle complex HR scenarios
  • Build intelligent automation agents using Large Language Models, RAG architectures, and multi-agent systems
  • Create real-time AI processing pipelines that enhance every aspect of the employee experience
  • Develop AI-powered integrations with 50+ SaaS platforms through our existing automation infrastructure


Technical Leadership:


  • Lead a growing AI team of ML/AI engineers and automation specialists
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers while building ELMO's AI centre of excellence
  • Drive technical decisions that will shape ELMO's AI strategy for years to come


Platform Innovation:


  • Integrate AI capabilities into our existing automation platform
  • Build scalable ML infrastructure on existing cloud infrastructure using the latest AI/ML services
  • Implement responsible AI practices ensuring privacy, fairness, and compliance with global regulations
  • Design APIs and SDKs that enable customers to build their own AI-enhanced workflows


Core AI/ML Expertise:

  • 7+ years software engineering with 5+ years in AI/ML systems
  • 3+ years leading technical teams (hiring, mentoring, performance management)
  • Deep hands-on experience with Large Language Models (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock)
  • Production deployment of 2+ generative AI applications
  • Strong knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, embedding models
  • Experience with agentic frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI)


Technical Leadership Skills:


  • Track record architecting complex AI projects from concept to production
  • Expertise in MLOps: model versioning, A/B testing, monitoring, retraining
  • Advanced Python with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
  • Cloud ML platform experience (AWS SageMaker strongly preferred)
  • Understanding of enterprise SaaS, APIs, microservices, integration patterns
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure as code

  • Team builder: Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing AI/ML talent
  • Communicator: Ability to translate complex AI concepts for business stakeholders
  • Innovator: Track record of identifying and implementing emerging AI technologies
  • Results-driven: Focus on measurable business outcomes and customer impact
