Job Opportunity: Java Software Engineer

Location: Europe [France, UK, Netherlands or "Remote"]

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions to meet our growing business needs. If you have a strong technical background and a passion for crafting high-quality code, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Software: Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications with high performance and scalability.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Utilize Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and MyBatis frameworks to build enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Work with Redis for caching and session management and integrate Kafka for message-driven architectures.
  • Proficient in at least one relational database system, such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
  • Understand microservices architecture and distributed systems principles.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and development.
  • Familiarity with PaaS (Platform as a Service) and SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms and development processes.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and DevOps, to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and resolve software issues to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Code Review and Optimization: Conduct code reviews, optimize existing solutions, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation to support software development and deployment processes.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Core Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, MyBatis).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with Redis, Kafka, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Knowledge of PaaS and SaaS platform development.
  • Proficiency in containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven/Gradle and version control systems such as Git.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges efficiently.
  • Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Protocol Knowledge: Familiarity with OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) is a significant advantage.
  • DevOps Exposure: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development processes.
