We’re looking for a mid-level Python Engineer with strong AWS skills to join a growing financial services firm based in Dublin city centre. Suited for someone with strong Python and AWS experience — especially across Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.

You’ll be designing, developing, and maintaining scalable contact centre solutions using AWS Connect, building seamless integrations across AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3. Expect to get hands-on developing serverless applications and APIs with AWS Lambda and Python, while implementing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring top-notch system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, cloud-based solutions using AWS Connect and related AWS tools.
• Develop APIs and automation using Python (Django/Flask) and serverless AWS technologies.
• Integrate AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, etc.) for reliable, secure operations.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to keep deployments quick and smooth.
• Monitor and optimise performance, reliability, and scalability across all systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, design, and roll out new features.
• Keep up with the latest AWS updates and best practices to continuously improve what you build.

Must Haves:

• 3+ years’ experience with Python and AWS cloud services.
• Proven background in serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Familiar with REST APIs, version control (Git), and cloud security principles.

Nice to have:

• AWS certifications (Developer or Solutions Architect).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Connect or related contact centre technologies.
