Head of Data
Permanent
Salary circa 120-130k per annum
Hybrid 2 days a week
Louth

As Head of Data, you will be responsible for setting the direction for how data is used across Company and leading the team that delivers it.
You'll work closely with the CIO and senior leaders to ensure data supports the company's commercial, operational, and growth objectives.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the data vision and strategy
Define what "good" looks like for data at company and how the organisation gets there.
  • Build trust in data
Establish clear definitions, standards, and ways of working so insight is consistent and reliable.
  • Lead a modern data function
Oversee data engineering, analytics, and modelling, ensuring teams are focused on impact rather than activity.
  • Develop an in-house capability
Grow and lead a high-performing data team, reducing reliance on external providers over time.
  • Embed data into decision-making
Ensure data answers real business questions around performance, efficiency, and growth.
  • Partner the business
Work closely with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, finance, and commercial teams to translate needs into data solutions.

This is a senior leadership role that blends strategy with pragmatism. You won't be coding day-to-day, but you'll stay close enough to the detail to guide decisions and maintain credibility with technical teams.

About You
This role is suited to an experienced data leader who enjoys building clarity where things are complex.
You'll likely have:

  • Experience leading a data function in a growing or evolving organisation
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics, and governance
  • A pragmatic, outcome-focused approach to data leadership
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and bring teams with you
  • A track record of building and developing high-performing data teams

You're comfortable making trade-offs, explaining them clearly, and focusing on progress rather than perfection.

  • A senior role with clear ownership and visibility
  • The opportunity to shape how data is used across a global brand
  • A collaborative leadership team with strong backing for data
  • The chance to build something meaningful, not just maintain what exists
