Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Communications Embedded Software, on-board Satellite Communications Payload, C/C++/RUST

Exciting opportunity for Senior and Lead Embedded Software Engineers to join our leading client in the space industry on an extremely exciting and greenfield project, where our client is developing a new Satellite constellation from scratch. The role of the Embedded Software Engineers will be to support in the Architecture, technical direction, development and integration of the on-board software for the high-performance satellite communications payload. This on-board software suite will be running on different equipment in the payload, interfacing with the bus computer. Over the next few years, this on-board software will be flown in space.

We are looking for a Lead Engineer who will have the opportunity to build and lead a team of Engineers, as well as senior engineers to be in the team.

To be successful in this role we are seeking highly experienced Embedded Software / Firmware Engineers, who have experience with Communications Embedded Software. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the Space, Satellite, Aerospace or Avionics industry, however this isn’t essential. Experience in the Communications domain for high speed / high throughput communications is essential (e.g Telecommunications, Base stations, Automotive, IoT / Smart devices etc.)

From a technical perspective, we need candidates highly experienced with C/C++/RUST.

This role requires weekly on-site presence in Luxembourg.
