- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Lead Developer role, guiding and mentoring development teams.
- Design, develop, customize, configure, test, and deploy Java-based enterprise applications.
- Work with established development tools, standards, and best practices across technologies including Java, Oracle, JavaScript, CSS, React, and Angular.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems by analyzing business requirements, identifying improvement areas, and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale, complex software solutions.
- Lead development activities, manage defect tracking, and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and test plans.
- Monitor day-to-day system operations and provide production and application support.
- Continuously research and adopt new technologies and development practices to improve system quality and efficiency.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Native-level fluency in Dutch, both spoken and written.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing large, complex Java-based systems in an n-tier architecture, using technologies such as: Java, Linux, Tibco EMS, Maven, Oracle Database, Ansible, Splunk, SonarQube, React, Angular
- Professional Java certification; Oracle certification is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in object-oriented design, solution design patterns, and best practices (e.g., SOA / MVC architectures).
- Solid experience in database design and development, particularly Oracle.
- Experience with web services, service-oriented architecture, and MVC frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Git, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Highly organized, self-driven, flexible, and innovative, with a strong passion for technology.
