We’re partnered with a fast-growing AI scale-up following a successful $25m Seed round, backed by top-tier international venture funds. The company is scaling rapidly and already seeing strong traction with enterprise customers.

About the Role:

They are looking for a Backend Engineer to help design and scale the core systems behind an AI-driven automation platform. You’ll join a small, high-impact engineering team working on event-driven microservices that underpin enterprise-grade AI products.

What You’ll Do:

• You’ll design, build, and operate the backend systems behind our agentic automation platform
• Design and optimise event-driven systems with Apache Kafka
• Contribute to a microservices environment
• Collaborate closely with AI teams to integrate LLMs and reasoning engines
• Work with GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and observability tools

What You’ll Bring:

• Proficiency in Go or Python
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Solid understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering workflows

Salary: €65,000-€95,000 + Share options scheme
