IT Ops Engineer – Cloud & DevOps

About the Role

We are seeking an IT Ops Engineer to join a Rapid Application Development team, focusing on cloud migration, CI/CD pipelines, and production support. You will ensure stable and secure environments, participate in solution design, implement technical solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cloud migration projects, including CI/CD platform analysis and deployment
• Define technical standards for cloud adoption and reusable solutions
• Collaborate with development and SRE teams for logging, monitoring, alerting, and provisioning of production resources
• Manage infrastructure: environments, databases, middleware, certificates, networks
• Execute technical tests (performance, recovery) and ensure proper documentation
• Manage backlog, change requests, incident reporting, and DRP/IC plans
• Propose and implement process improvements, share best practices

Technical Requirements

• IBM Cloud certification (Bronze level or equivalent)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Knowledge of WebSphere and Tomcat deployments
• Scripting in Shell, Python, YAML; Java development is a plus
• Proficiency with GitLab, Artifactory, GitLab CI, SonarQube, Xray, Sonatype, Fortify, and Ansible playbooks
• Strong Linux environment skills (RedHat)
