About The Role

Reporting to the Software Development Director, you will design, build, and operate LLM-powered features end-to-end, including model customization, agent workflows, RAG pipelines, and scalable backend services, while ensuring reliability, security, and privacy compliance throughout.

What You’ll Do

• Fine-tune and customize Small and Large Language Models (LLMs) for domain-specific tasks (summarization, reasoning, classification, retrieval, etc.)
• Develop, test, and deploy AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent
• Build and maintain orchestration pipelines for LLM workflows (task routing, memory management, RAG pipelines)
• Consume and integrate multiple LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
• Build scalable backend services for AI products, including API endpoints, inference services, and distributed processing components
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using vector databases and embeddings
• Work with PostgreSQL and other storage systems to design optimized schemas for AI-driven applications
• Develop monitoring, logging, and evaluation tools to ensure model quality and reliability
• Collaborate with product, backend, data science, and clinical teams to translate business needs into AI workflows
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance for all data and model operations
  
  

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in AI/LLM applications
• Strong experience in Python, including frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and RAG pipelines
• Experience with vector databases
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL including schema design, optimization, indexing, and query tuning
• Experience building AI orchestration pipelines
• Experience consuming and integrating external LLM APIs
• Understanding machine learning fundamentals, embeddings, tokenization, and inference optimization
• Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable technical implementations
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
