Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist experience with direct responsibility for HR operations in Poland.
  • Strong, practical knowledge of Polish labor law, including contracts, probation periods, terminations, and employee documentation.
  • Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding).
  • Experience administering employee benefits in Poland and coordinating with local vendors.
  • Practical experience supporting work authorization and residence permit processes in Poland.
  • Fluent Polish and upper-intermediate English are required, with Ukrainian considered a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the local HR owner for Poland and the main contact for employees and managers on Poland-related HR topics.
  • Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle in Poland (onboarding to offboarding), including employee support, welcome/1:1 meetings, trial period closure, exit interviews, Poland-specific guidance on terminations, and preparation of employment documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Polish labor law and internal policies; maintain and continuously improve HR templates and documentation flows aligned with local requirements.
  • Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs (payroll file and changes) to enable payroll processing by the Finance team.
  • Own benefits administration and vendor coordination (e.g., LuxMed, MultiSport) for Poland team members.
  • Provide immigration support: advise on available work authorization options, and prepare and coordinate employer-side documentation for work and residence permits.
  • Deliver operational client-facing HR advisory on Poland-specific processes, compliance, and employee support; coordinate HR delivery for Poland-related topics.
  • Support and coordinate employee transfers across entities, including documentation alignment, compliance requirements, and immigration-related considerations (in cooperation with the client).
