Job Title: HR Assistant – Recruitment
Industry: Oil & Gas
Location: UAE (Onshore / Offshore / Island Project – as applicable)
Experience: 1–3 years (Oil & Gas preferred)
Job Purpose
To support the Recruitment team in sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and mobilizing candidates for Oil & Gas projects while ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities for onshore, offshore, and island projects
- Screen CVs as per job requirements and shortlisting criteria
- Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and clients
- Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and manpower reports
- Support offer letter preparation and documentation
- Coordinate pre-employment processes (medical, background check, visa, mobilization)
- Liaise with candidates regarding interview schedules, documentation, and joining details
- Support onboarding and induction formalities
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and local labor laws
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and candidate information
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in recruitment (Oil & Gas industry preferred)
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas job roles (engineering, construction, commissioning, operations)
- Knowledge of UAE labor laws and visa processes is an advantage
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight hiring deadlines
