Product Manager

Role: Product Manager – Cloud Security

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Define product vision, strategy, and 1218 month roadmap for security capabilities (IAM, DLP, secrets, threat detection, security posture).
• Align to business risk priorities and regulatory requirements set measurable OKRs (risk reduction, MTTR, coverage, adoption).
• Conduct discovery with SecOps, architecture, and business stakeholders benchmark against industry controls and frameworks.
• Translate requirements into PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria with a strong secure-by-design lens.
• Partner with engineering to design scalable controls and guardrails (policies, workflows, APIs, integrations).
• Define security SLAsSLOs, data classification, encryption standards, access policies, and audit traceability.
• Prioritize backlog using risk impact likelihood, customer value, and engineering effort.
• Drive sprint rituals, release planning, and cross-team dependencies (platform, infra, compliance).Lead UAT, hardening, rollout plans, runbooks, documentation, and stakeholder enablement.
• Establish telemetry for detections, incidents, vulnerabilities, and posture drift manage incident response with SecOps.
• Implement control monitoring, exception workflows, and periodic attestation.
• Support audits and certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPRCCPA) ensure evidence is complete and accessible.
• Define and track KPIs (coverage, reduction in critical findings, MTTR, false-positive rate, policy adherence, user adoption).Run feedback loops with Security Architecture, SecOps, and application teams iterate features and deprecate legacy tools.
• Evangelize secure development practices and build self-serve patterns for teams.
