About The Role

The Digital Designer will play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating the digital customer experience at Under Armour. Reporting to the Creative Director – Digital, this role involves driving innovative digital design solutions across various channels including website, email marketing, display ads, paid social media, and loyalty programs. The Digital Designer will collaborate closely with the website, performance marketing, and creative teams to produce compelling, brand-aligned digital content that resonates with consumers and enhances engagement. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong command of design principles and executional excellence, capable of making quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a versatile creative mindset, embracing new tools and trends such as generative AI, motion graphics, and social content creation. Their work will directly impact the omni-channel customer journey, supporting business growth through innovative digital storytelling that aligns with brand standards and consumer expectations.

Qualifications

  • BFA in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a digital design role
  • Outstanding portfolio demonstrating best-in-class digital design solutions
  • Strong proficiency in typography, layout, color theory, and core graphic design skills
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce, email, social media, and performance marketing channels
  • Knowledge of current design trends and cultural influences
  • Familiarity with tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Bonus: Experience with motion graphics and video editing software like After Effects and Premiere
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and front-end development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Passion for athletics and retail industries

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative and compelling digital designs for website, email campaigns, display ads, paid social media, and loyalty programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, marketing, and external agencies to develop cohesive digital experiences
  • Utilize data insights and consumer behavior to inform and optimize design decisions
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual concepts that align with brand standards and strategic goals
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and cultural shifts to keep digital content fresh and relevant
  • Ensure consistency in visual language and brand identity across all digital channels
  • Support the implementation of motion graphics and video content to enhance storytelling
  • Contribute to the development of creative strategies that maximize engagement and conversion
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
