This position is being hired as an urgent replacement to support an ongoing enterprise engagement in Geneva.

Job Location & Work Model

Location: Geneva region, Switzerland

Work model: Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite per week)

Workload: 80–100%

Start date: Immediate / February start preferred

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer with strong React frontend experience to join a forward-deployed consulting delivery team. You will work directly at a client site supporting enterprise applications in a regulated environment.

This role combines frontend engineering, backend integration, production support and stakeholder interaction. It is suited for senior engineers with experience in enterprise software development, consulting delivery, or financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React and Redux frontend applications
• Build and integrate backend services using Node.js in a microservices environment
• Support production systems, investigate bugs, analyse logs and resolve incidents
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and backend APIs
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners on requirements and delivery
• Support asynchronous systems using message queues and worker-based architectures
• Ensure stability, performance and security of production systems
• Participate in technical decision-making and delivery quality improvement

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior-level experience (minimum 5 years) as Fullstack Developer, Software Engineer or Frontend Engineer with backend exposure
• Strong experience with React and Redux in production systems
• Professional experience with TypeScript and relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
• Backend experience using Node.js
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in enterprise, consulting, banking, insurance or regulated environments
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder-facing experience
• Fluent English required; French is an advantage

Nice to Have Skills

• RabbitMQ or messaging-based architecture experience
• Python development experience
• Azure cloud exposure (monitoring, logging, troubleshooting)
• Knowledge of AI-assisted systems or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
