Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hosting Lead to manage on-premises data centre operations and hybrid cloud infrastructure across VMware, AWS, and Azure. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of critical systems while leading offshore support teams and supporting MS SQL database environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day onshore data centre operations ensuring uptime, security, and efficiency
• Manage VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) and hybrid workloads across AWS & Azure
• Oversee infrastructure provisioning, patching, backup, DR, and performance optimization
• Support and coordinate MS SQL Server administration, backups, and DR testing
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards (ISO 27001, ITIL, SOC 2)
• Monitor infrastructure and cloud environments; drive cost and performance optimization
• Lead offshore teams, manage incidents, vendors, SLAs, and infrastructure projects

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years in data centre / infrastructure operations
• Strong expertise in VMware, AWS, and Azure
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server administration
• Experience managing hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and ITIL-based operations
• Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Terraform) is a plus

• VMware VCP
• AWS Solutions Architect / SysOps
• Azure Administrator Associate
• MS SQL (MCSA/MCSE)
• ITIL v4 Foundation
