Embedded Software Development Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Development Engineer to take ownership of development of low-to-middle level firmware (related to infrastructure and manufacturing) for the AtlasPRO UAV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems from defining requirements to production and commercial deployment
  • Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software
  • Integrate and validate new product designs
  • Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
  • Provide post-production support
  • Interact with hardware design and development
  • Assess third-party and open-source software

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience in C/C++ on embedded platforms
  • Technical English writing and reading ability for research and documentation
  • Software development and knowledge of software standards

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Experience with applications using ARM architecture microcontroller and/or FPGA basic hardware knowledge
  • Understanding of digital electronic circuits and hardware
