The Role
Responsible for the domestic services function within hospital and community premises through the effective deployment of staff resources to ensure effective cleaning methods, the control of infection and the promotion of a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.

This role will be based in Domestic Services within Kello Hospital.
The working pattern for this role Saturday - Sunday (07:30am - 15:30pm).

- Elementary Food Hygiene (provided internally)
- First Line Management (provided as personal development)
- Human Resource Policies and Protocols
- Level of experience 1-2 years working as a domestic within a preferred Public Sector environment
- Basic IT Skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Good Personal Hygiene
- A full, valid UK/EU/EEA drivers licence.
- Domestic Supervisors Training Programme (provided internally).
- Elementary Food Hygiene (provided internally).
- First Line Management (provided as personal development).
- BICSc qualification in healthcare.
- Qualified to ILM Standard
- SVQ in cleaning science.
- Experience of working within an NHS environment including awareness of Health & Safety Practices, & COSHH.
- Domestic Services Monitoring experience.
- General awareness of NHS business.
- Computer Literate.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Good communication skills – including written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to work as an individual and also as a team member.
