Python Developer - London - Energy Trading - €150k TTC

RJC is working a Python Developer role for a global energy trading company based in Germany. Working as part of the Trading Analytics team within the Front Office, they are looking for a developer to set up data pipelines with modelling integration to support the front office traders and quants.

The role demands understanding of trading or commodity markets, developing cloud-based data pipelines, and collaboration with Quant Developers, Data Scientists and domain experts to solve challenging business problems.

The ideal Python Developer will have:

• Minimum 5+ years Python development experience
• At least 2 years experience building and maintaining cloud applications and data pipelines
• Experience using and optimizing SQL and NoSQL based databases.
• Experience working within a trading environment (energy or commodities preferred)
• Strong experience with distributed architecture and modern CI/CD practices (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with traders and demanding front office users
